Managing Director: Mr. Sim Hoy Chhoung

Mr. Sim was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of VTrust Appraisal Co., Ltd, a leading company specializing in valuation services and real estate consultancy. He was in charge of hundreds thousand of valuation and advisory cases for banks, stock exchange market and other clients.

Before joining VTrust Appraisal, Sim worked as senior investment consultant at Devenco Investment and Consulting Co., Ltd, where he was mainly in charge of sourcing and raising funds for investment projects, project management, and market research. Prior, Sim had worked for more than 2 years as an investment associate at Leopard Capital, a private equity firm, where he actively sourced and evaluated deals, prepared investment documentations, oversaw investee’s in the investment portfolio. Notably, he was directly involved and successfully closed a US$5-million deal in a mineral water bottling green-field project. Prior to Leopard Capital, Sim worked at Canadia Bank Plc. where he held the position as a deputy chief accountant.

Sim holds an MBA in international finance from Brandeis University under a Fulbright Scholarship, and won the South East Asia Supplemental Grant Award for Outstanding Fulbright Grantees. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and also graduated from Royal University of Law and Economics with a B.A. degree in Economics with specialization in business management.
